Best holiday yet

Just come back from 15 nights at the Sunrise Hotel. Myself and other half and 5 children.Aged between 9&16. I will keep it as brief as possible, but please be assured, I could talk all night long about our whole stay. I would like to say firstly, we have always stayed in villas. Had been to all inclusive hotels before and never been impressed. Sunrise Hotel and it's staffed very quickly changed my mind. I don't think I have anything negative to say about it! Lovely rooms, We were able to have 2 next to each other on the top floor. These were cleaned daily by the friendliest cleaning lady. Such comfy beds and pillows. Powerful air con. The views were stunning. Being on the balcony first thing in the morning and last thing at night,always brought smiles to our faces. We were in the newest building to the left of the hotel, Very quiet at night. Food was plentiful at each meal. Lovely mix of international and Greek food. Staff worked hard to keep it coming and keeping the area clean. There were two waitresses in particular who didn't seem to stop. Always had a smile on their faces too. Really friendly. Always went that extra step to make us smile. The restaurant now has a giant stone pizza oven and chef who makes fresh pizzas and stone baked bread pieces all evening. I have never been a pizza person..ever. This pizza was very nice. Very moorish. Evening times were lovely. Friendly bar man, good selection of drinks. AH ha! first negative. The coke and diet coke tastes bad. I usually would choose diet coke as a mixer, but switched to others for this holiday. Not a real problem though. Everything else was nice. There's children's entertainment, which is held in the children amphitheatre most evenings. On a Saturday it is up near the bar. This works very well. The people who don't want to hear/take part don't need to see or hear it. Tyna, who seemed to be the lady who ran all the children's entertainment and pool exercise classes, was lovely. Worked non stop to provide entertainment. Always smiling. Children seemed to flock to her. Always on the go checking that people are happy. This lady deserves a bonus in her pay packet! The hotels beach is lovely, great for children and adults alike. Plenty of sunbeds. These do cost 3.50E a day. Towel on the sand works to though. Very peaceful and relaxing to spend the day down there. Being next to the pool is a bit more upbeat. The staff we dealt with were lovely. Tasos and Achilles couldn't do enough to make our stay special. We were all sad to leave. When our two big teenage boys actually shed tears the day we left the hotel and their new friends...it set my opinion in stone. So glad we spent our hard earned savings on a holiday at Sunrise Hotel.
